I’ve always kind of wanted to pierce, but I genuinely never thought I was cool enough to be a piercer. Almost Famous showed me that to be a piercer I didn’t have to look a certain way, or dress a certain way- I could be a great piercer just as I am.

I love my customers! And we have one of the best jewelry collections I’ve ever seen for body jewelry, so I get to wear some pretty cool stuff! I also get the added bonus as a piercing supervisor of watching new piercers grow into their jobs and there is really nothing else I would ever rather do. Helping new piercers achieve their goals is the best part of my day.

I love getting to hang out and vibe with new people in the rooms, people I would maybe never meet in my regular life. I also love the diversity of people I get to see in the store, not everyone who comes to Almost Famous looks like a “piercing person” Which is a funny term I get to hear a lot, we get such a wide range of people- it’s always a blast.

I am a total cat lady, I’ve even trained my cats to walk on leashes, so we go for a lot of walks. I also love to read, write, and I spend a lot of time crafting (Crochet/knit/ sewing). I also go to a lot of concerts when I have the time! I just relocated so I’m getting used to living in such a big city!
